Center for Strategic Industry Partnerships (CSIP), Somaiya Vidyavihar University, Mumbai, was started in 2023, to act as a pivotal bridge between Academia and Industry. Leveraging Mumbai’s position as a global business hub, CSIP connects the University’s multidisciplinary capabilities with diverse industry sectors to generate value for talent development, business growth, and societal well-being.In alignment with India's National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, CSIP fosters a dynamic ecosystem where academia and industry collaborate on customized curriculum design and skill-building initiatives. The Centre creates a mutually beneficial framework - empowering students with practical exposure and employment opportunities, while enabling industries to access a pool of job-ready, skilled talent tailored to their evolving needs. Through these partnerships, CSIP not only enhances employability and continuous learning but also contributes to the NEP’s vision of a holistic, flexible, and industry-relevant higher education landscape.
