ChemRoots is a CSR initiative of CRODA India Company Private Limited and implemented by Somaiya Vidyavihar. The program aims to anchor youth in the world of Chemistry by offering financial support, training, mentorship, and career guidance to students pursuing Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. By focusing on holistic personality development, ChemRoots equips boys and girls from economically weaker sections of the society to build meaningful careers in the chemical industry.

Student Eligibility Criteria

  • From Economically Weaker Section with family income ≤ ₹8,00,000 per annum
  • Enrolled in BSc/MSc Chemistry/Diploma/BE/BTech Chemical Engineering
  • Minimum 60% in SSC, HSC and 55% marks in previous examination (BSc/Diploma)
  • No active ATKT at the time of application
  • Tuition Fees not covered under any other government or private scholarship or alumni support
